Scenic Waterfall Adventure

Offer Image
When you stop in Skagway, there is no better scenic and relaxing ride to the area's beautiful waterfall destinations, both in the state and along the Klondike Highway into Canada.

Scenic Waterfall Adventure

This amazingly panoramic tour allows you a most comfortable ride in a small tour bus to all the scenic waterfall destinations located in and around Skagway, plus across the border into Canada, as you ride up the Klondike Highway. This tour is the perfect introduction to Southeast Alaska and sites across the border in Canada as well.

Leave the port area of beautiful Skagway and make your way to scenic viewing platforms for great photo opportunities while in Alaska and Canada. Be provided a friendly, knowledgeable local guide who will give informative commentary, history, and colorful descriptions of each waterfall destination.

Your first stop is Reid Falls, where you will enjoy an approximate 10 minute rain forest hike up to the falls located in the Gold Rush Cemetery. For those wishing to make the hike, a moderate level of walking ability is required.

Travel next to Bridal Veil Falls. You can put your hands in this waterfall, as you are able to get up close and personal here. Continue to Pitchfork Falls and view the second largest waterfall in Southeast Alaska.

Next you will travel to the "Welcome to Alaska" sign, where a brief photo stop will be made. You will be journeying up the breathtaking Klondike Highway as you make your way to the border crossing into Canada. International Falls will be located directly after you have crossed the border.

Begin to make your way back to Skagway and see Captain William Moore Bridge, a brand new pedestrian walkway. A final stop will be made at the Skagway City Overlook.

This very special excursion affords you the chance to see these waterfalls and scenic stops in one tour making for a very exclusive nature experience like no other.

Please Note: This tour will be crossing the Canadian border and then back across the U.S. border. All U.S. and Canadian citizens who are 16 and older traveling between the U.S. and Canada are required to present a valid passport. It is suggested to bring a photo I.D. as well. U.S. and Canadian citizens who are 15 years old or younger may travel with a certified birth certificate.
